78 Domaine Odyssée
OUR FIRST IMPRESSIONS

This is fresh and crunchy with a sting to it. It feels juicy but theres an extra layer of interest - raspberries and blackberries with pepper and herbs. It feels light and easy drinking then surprises you at the very end with long lasting punch.

This wine is a 50-50 blend of fer servadou and grenache grapes, the former is a tannic and strong local grape, and the latter is soft and juicy. The result is a fresh and crunchy red with a sting to it. "Every region in France has a number. Vincent has some land in the region of Roussillon (number 66) and his friends grow grapes in Aveyron (number 12). After a boozy lunch one afternoon they thought it was a fun idea to blend their grapes together - making 78." - IS
