What’s in the box?

Garance, Luneau, 2019 (£14) - “Muscadet always seems to taste of the sea and this has exactly that. It’s all hand picked and softened by some lees aging, making it a really enjoyable white.”

Catarratto, Baglio Antico, 2020 (£15.50) - “Honey, lemon rind, dried herbs and ginger, this is a bitter, dry wine. It has a great amount of skin contact to make it pack a punch without being too much.”

Bourgogne Aligoté, Domaine Goisot, 2019 (£17) - “Apricots with white peach, ginger and gooseberry with plenty of creamy malolactic fermentation. This is certified biodynamic, hand harvested and low sulphur - wow.”

Watchtower, Offbeat Wines, 2020 (£23.50) - "Peaches, grapefruit and apples but so incredibly clean. There is no sweetness here at all making it one of those wines you could drink all afternoon, evening and night."

Le Petit Beaufort Brut Rosé Taille, Alice Beaufort, 2014 (£25) - "The colour of rusty irn-bru this wine is like burnt marmalade and copper. Really clean on the palate with some raspberry coulis to soften it a little."

Vincenzo Bianco, Fattoria di Vaira, 2020 (£15) - “It's tangy tangerine, orange liqueur and marmalade. It's really well balanced and that tangy-ness carries on through right till the very end.”
